What Now?
If you are wondering, how did I end up 'here?' I thought this is what I wanted, but it's not. Or, some event has catapulted you into a place you've never been before, you may just be asking yourself, "What Now?" I can help.
I am a certified Martha Beck Life Coach, living in Calgary, Alberta. My life coaching philosophy is that you have the keys to your right life—not me. My job as a coach is to help you access what’s true for you using tools and inquiry, rather than advice-giving. Together, we find the illogical and limiting beliefs that hold you back from leading the life you want. You and I together help remove mental barriers so you can tap into your own inner motivation and wisdom, and make your dreams and goals a reality. I believe in results. As Martha says, “If you’ve spent more than ten minutes talking to a client and you haven’t changed that client’s life for the better, you’re not a Martha Beck coach.” I will teach you the tools that allow you to better your life. My Bio
Perfect wife and mother (with co-dependency issues !) until that didn’t work anymore. I decided instead to be happy. I was a stay-at-home mom until my two daughters were teenagers, then I got a job at a library so I could be near books. I love, love, love books! The Self-Help section was my favorite. I pursued a music education in my adulthood because I was obsessed with playing the piano.
I am a Business Administration graduate. I have a Grade 8 Royal Conservatory of Music Certification and now teach piano and guitar in my home. Most recently I have become a Martha Beck Certified Life Coach. I have managed or been an administrator for several businesses, and currently have 2 of my own. I also am employed part time as a Chief Office Administrator for a chiropractor.
Coaching cured my co-dependency where therapy never could. As a self-help book junkie, coaching has enabled me to implement the thousands of hours of information I have read into tools that change lives.
My current passions (read: borderline obsessions) are yoga and blogging....see my blog page
