I visited each room with a critical eye looking for anything I could toss. I was thinking pare down, minimize, make space. I mostly just found things in one room that belonged in another. I re-organized items more than removed items.
I put this on my list as a catalyst to getting things streamlined and organized. I know from experience that just getting started is the hardest part. So, by bribing myself to remove just ‘one’ item, there may have been the chance that many unnecessary objects would get tossed. I discovered, however, that everything in every room is either utilized or enjoyed, which I’m pretty pleased about. My closets are another matter - but that’s on the list for another day.
Today things got put back in their place. Just think, if I did that every day? Or..I could just put things back where they go when I’m done with them…? See, these exercises are so surprisingly helpful!
Day 19: Go to Youtube and watch funny pet videos for at least 10 minutes
